Combat Stress and Cravings with Ear Massage
Acupressure is an ancient Chinese healing method that involves putting pressure with the fingers or the hand on certain points of the body. The pressure can unblock the flow of Qi to release tension and restore inner harmony. 1. Rub in small circular motions with your thumbs inside the widest upper part inside the ears, holding them from outside with the index and middle fingers.
2. Use your index finger to massage inside the smaller crevices if your thumbs don't fit and along the front of your ear where it attaches to the head.
3. Massage the earlobes by gently pulling them down and making circles with your thumb and index finger.
To enhance these acupressure and reflexology for anxiety techniques, it is highly recommended that you also do breathing exercises every day. Slow, deep breathing plus acupressure and reflexology combine to form a highly effective self therapy for emotional stress, tension, anxiety and nervousness.
